Providence Place Social Work Service

Social Work Service is provided to the clients and residents at Providence Place by a registered social worker. Direct social work service is provided primarily to GARU clients and their families, and Maguire Centre Medical Program Clients and their families, including the following as needed: psychosocial assessment, discharge planning, individual and group counselling, financial planning, liaison, advocacy and consultation, follow-up monitoring, and client, family and staff support and education.

This service is also available to residents of Long Term Care and Maguire Centre Social Program upon referral.
